Welcome to Communities In Schools (CIS)

Communities In Schools (CIS) is the largest dropout prevention program in the state, working with children in grades PK-12.  Communities In Schools of Northeast Texas works to keep students from dropping out of school. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. 

Communities In Schools helps qualifying students with needs such as school supplies, clothing, eye glasses, and food.  CIS also helps students who are struggling in any way to get back on track by giving them one on one support.
