Driver Qualifications:

Drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
Have a class B CDL with a P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsement.
Have a State Bus Driving Safety Certificate.
Pass an annual physical exam.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug screening throughout
the year.
Pass a back-ground check and be subject to at least one driving record
check throughout the year. Drivers must be free of felony or misdemeanor
convictions involving moral turpitude.


Anyone interested in a bus driving position must fill out an application
either online through Region 8 or obtain an application at the Pewitt
CISD Administration Building.
